Sketching and markups are where the bulk of direction comes from on any given project. Integrating additional restroom amenities towards the end of the project meant breaking out the butter paper again!

What is A.M.D.G.?
And why is it written on the top right hand corner of our documents? A.M.D.G. is Latin for “Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam” — translated into English as “For the Greater Glory of God.” As professionals, this isn’t a political or cultural statement. It’s much simpler. It is a reminder of why we do what we do, and what is really important in our lives and our work.

The Trails Community Center
Welcome to The Trails Community Center, where modern rustic aesthetics intertwine with a warm and inviting ambiance. The thoughtfully curated design showcases a harmonious blend of natural materials, including a warm-toned, paneled wood ceiling and exposed wooden beam rafters. With an emphasis on creating an atmosphere that exudes comfort, the center features a perfect balance of wood and stone elements.
The Design
To serve the programs of the site we came to the resolution of grouping needs into three parts: service facilities, a multi-use outdoor pavilion, and an indoor gathering space with support spaces wrapped around.
