What if we put a luxurious oasis inside of our luxurious oasis? For those that want to visit this crystal lagoon, but the beach isn't their game, we worked closely with our landscape partners at Kimley-Horn to create an escape within the shimmering waters of the lagoon. This swim-up bar includes expansive covered dining and private cabanas with their own lagoon access and sun-shelves for semi-private lounging by the water.
The swim up bar and cabanas went through several rounds of conceptual and schematic design. Many factors had to be considered. Some of the design challenges were from regulatory requirements for fire prevention as well as finding a balance between creating a showpiece floating in the lagoon and not blocking views from the Big House.
