The Conceptual Design
For this project the Design Architect, blueARCH Architects, provided an initial starting point for the concept of the building
Located off the coast of Highland Beach, Florida, this multifamily complex consists of three townhomes and six condos, for a total of nine units. As Associate Architects on this project, we assisted the Architect of Record in implementing a design that would create a luxury residential feel. Mixing architectural steel columns and a perforated metal screen facade with the warm tones of wood throughout the exterior of the building was a way to create an aesthetic palette that reflects the site itself. The profile of the roofs, angled walls, and balconies are inspired by the rippling ocean waves, giving the building an overall sleek and dynamic appearance.

The condos are housed above ground floor parking, with two units on each of the three floors above for a total of six condos. The three townhomes consist of four stories total, with each having a private garage and a pool. All units have unique exterior balconies that extend out towards the ocean, which frame personal views for each resident.
