The Heights of Baytown restroom pavilion, serving a new community in Baytown, Texas, features separate men's and women's restrooms with an adjoining covered outdoor patio area. Strategically placed louvers at the top of the walls facilitate efficient air ventilation throughout the building.

The Design

The initial concept studies investigated different methods for integrating the amenity center and outdoor pavilions with the landscape. The simple design utilizes natural ventilation below the roof canopy and above the masonry walls to cool visitors and keep the space fresh.
