After Hurricane Harvey destroyed much of the original clubhouse, Project Luong provided an overall plan to unify the site, improve circulation, and redesign the aging playground. The plan creates a central lawn in front of the new clubhouse as a focal point and meeting space with radial walks that connect the various site elements. The design also includes an updated playground layout and features. Because the site's existing shade trees were so important to the residents, the playground design incorporates and highlights the trees.

Following the devastation wrought by Hurricane Harvey, Project Luong stepped in to offer a comprehensive strategy for revitalization. Their plan aimed to harmonize the site, enhance traffic flow, and rejuvenate the dated playground. Central to this vision was the establishment of a focal lawn area adjacent to the Clubhouse, seamlessly linking key features such as the basketball court and playground.
The renovation includes a modernized playground design tailored to integrate with the surrounding canopy of mature shade trees.
This is Project Luong's first venture in landscape architecture and took over 3 years in planning as the community worked through funding.
